Classical Sounds started as an excuse for one more big performance to end off a year filled with sacred, classical sounds. Naturally very important to have the organ feature as well, though. A group of musicians (mostly all amateurs) who volunteered their talent and passion for God and Music during our Classical service, deserved at least one opportunity where we could play, sing and share our love of Christ and enthusiasm for music making with others.
Oh, joyous abandonment!
From that first little concert in 2015, where we had only 7 strings, with me, running around being soloist, conductor, ensemble player and choir member, to the concerts we had in 2017... God has blessed our music making and I hope that we, in turn, can be a blessing unto others. Not just by the sounds we produce, but through that which lies hidden beneath.
